Dear Anna,
A bit later than planned we want to express our gratitude for the great time we had in your agriturismo. The cleanliness of the rooms, the wonderful surroundings but most of all the delicious food you cooked for us during our stay. It was sensational. Your friendliness and willingness to help, made our stay absolutely wonderful. Thank you. Later on I will send you the photo we made of you and your daughter. Reagards to her as well. All the best,
Lex Hendrix.
Dear Anna,

Dear Ann:
You are a privileged person to have been able to transmit your vision of your life goal to your guests. We felt it and appreciated it. Not many people are able to achieve their mission in life, but you have and we felt it. You are touching many lives with your sensitivity and hard work. It does not goes unnoticed. We did notice it, appreciate and valued it.
Much success and thank you again. Greetings to Carmen.
Thank you so much for the personal attention, your exquisite cuisine, excellent service and beautiful surroundings of la Vecchia Quercia. After a hectic week of work in Amsterdam, we made the right choice to stay at la Vecchia Quercia; an intimate, superb set of dwellings in natural country surroundings outside of Salerno and near to Pompeii or the Amalfi Coast.
This vacation at your intimate agri-turismo was a respite in peaceful, natural surroundings with beautiful flowers, fruit, olives, grapes and produce growing on the farm. As one arrives to la Vecchia Quercia, the aroma of the flowers says it all: this is a place where nature is respected, honored and the guests are treated gracefully.

The host and owner Anna Imparato knows how to entertain and foresees the needs of her guests. She can provide as much privacy, or companionship and cooperation, as one wishes. She is an excellent source of knowledge about Italy, where to go, what to do, restaurants, nearby Pompeii and other archaeological sites, etc.
We decided to have breakfast and dinner each day at la Vecchia Quercia. Her cuisine skills are so exquisite that we couldn't pass the opportunity to dine natural, tasteful and extravagant dinners. She would entertain us with gracious conversation and fine local wines.
Mrs. Imparato recommended to us a restaurant to dine on the nearby Amalfi Coast, namely Aqua Pazza in Cetara (outside of Salerno). When we arrived there the restaurant owner knew Mrs. Imparato and treated us royally. The dinner was exquisite. We also tried "colatura" sauce at Cetara, a typical dinner compliment made from anchovies of this area. It was so good we bought some bottles to bring home with us.
We highly recommend la Vecchia Quercia for a relaxing vacation where you can get to know and flavor the "other side of Italy" away from the tourism crowds. A piece of heaven on earth.
With kind regards,
Hi Anna,
Just a quick email to ask how things are in La Vecchia Quercia, I am curious to hear some news. Guess you are very busy but hope to get a short reply fairly soon. I am looking for an excuse to travel to the Salerno region and enjoy your fantastic cooking again. In the cooking club we still regularly talk about our wonderful experience last year. And yesterday I spoke to Abel who visited you last year in September I think and he also confirmed me that the visit to you and Vannulo and Paestum was one of the highlights of their tour around Italy.
Best wishes also to Silvia and Carmen,

Hello Anna,
Dave and I are safely back in Toronto. We talk everyday about your food
and how much we miss it, I am really not exaggerating. My only regret is
that I didn't take a cooking lesson with you, which just means we have to
come back.

Dear Anna,
We are back to normal life now after a wonderful time in Italy/Sicily. We have been staying in Agriturismos all the time during our vacation, but we have special good memories of the time we were staying with you!
We would like to thank you again for your great hospitality, the warm and relaxed atmosphere you created, and the fabulous food.
It was rather quiet at most places, often we had the accommodation to ourselves, so we sincerely hope for you that the rest of the year will compensate for the slow start of the tourist season.
Friends of ours also stayed at your great resort, probably in 2009, and they were equally enthusiastic about you and your place!
Anna, we wish you all the best, we will certainly keep your Agriturismo in mind and hope to be back some time.
Kind regards, also to Carmen,
Ria and Ton German,
Eindhoven, The Netherlands
